I breastfeed my baby so I don't need formula.  I used to get free $5 coupons from both similac and enfamil...God only knows why...I don't remember if I passed them on(more than likely) or threw them away.  But if I come across anything I'll let you know.  My two youngest are only several months apart so the diaper issue is solved.  She just wears his and he's now in pullups to which I'm grateful.  He's two and basically potty-trained himself.  He woke up one day and said he had to go to the bathroom and now is insistent that he sit on the toilet every morning an hour or so upon waking and throughout the day.  So it's great.  He'll be an example to her more than likely and she'll start going on her own as well.  They are too smart.  I'm homeschooling so I don't have to worry about dragging them to and from a daycare that I couldn't possibly afford.  Best of luck to you and many blessings.   www.bettertobless.com  this site has changed my outlook, maybe it will yours too.  Namaste

we do get wic but it's still not enough for the baby. he is a big boy as you can see in the picture, he love's to eat.  We always run out of formula every month and we already talked to wic about this, and they said they are just there for helping not supplying all the formula. wic here does not give diapers away. I've never heard of that. I wish they did do that here. :( We already got the free formula a long time ago from enfamil website, but I have been on every other website and filled out my info for free samples but they all said it would take 3 to 6 weeks to get here. I also got diaper samples but they only send one at a time. :( I wrote a letter to huggies.com and told them our situation but I haven't got a letter back yet. I don't even have any cloth diapers or I would use them.

I hope you guys are getting WIC for the little one (they help you with formula, diapers, etc). Also did you go to enfamil website they send you formula for free. Also if you have state family insurance out here it is called familycare your pediatrician can write a prescription for formula and your insurance will cover it especially if he is having digestive issues. Our pediatrician use to give us lots of free formula because they get alot of free formula from the manufacturers.  How is the social services battle going? What is the latest???

You can post for items you need for your cute little guy on your local Craig's List website and also on the Freecycle website.  Many parents find themselves with some of those drops or diapers in the last size, and I'm sure they would rather pass them along than throw them out.  You can also try moving his legs as if he was riding a bicycle and also bouncing him gently while supporting his head carefully - I used to have to hold my son up on my shoulder and sit on the edge of my bed and bounce up and down to get that colicy crying to stop.  Also, ask your son's pediatrician - or any pediatrician for that matter - if they have any sample cans they could give you.  Best wishes, Rosie
